That sounds fine if your hotel is in either area, though by the time you set off, it may be 10am. You can have a brunch in the Qianmen area. You can also visit a museum around Tiananmen before a late lunch and check-in.Hello, need some ideas. touching down beijing at 7am, we will drop luaggage at hotel first. consider is a red eye flight and is a monday, any suggestion where to go? I am thinking 景山and 前门大街。

Ah. Missed that. The whole lot of them around Tiananmen close on Mondays. Even if you want to see Mao.Take note that some places, e.g. museums, 故居, etc. may be closed on Mondays.

I going to Shanghai first then Suzhou hangzhou Beijing. Like this, is there a EZ-Link card equivalent that tourist can buy and use for all?https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/co...-beijings-subway-just-got-lot-easier-tourists Sep 18, 2024 · 01:03 PM
NAVIGATING Beijing’s sprawling subway network has just become easier for foreign tourists with the introduction of credit-card enabled “tap-and-go” enabled turnstiles.
From last Friday (Sep 13), overseas issued credit cards such as MasterCard and Visa can be used to pay for subway trips in the capital, marking an increase in convenience for international visitors who previously had to grapple with vending machines to purchase tickets.
With this, Beijing becomes the first city in mainland China to allow credit cards.......
Just use the transport 'function' in Alipay.I going to Shanghai first then Suzhou hangzhou Beijing. Like this, is there a EZ-Link card equivalent that tourist can buy and use for all?

You should be able to make it unless your flight is late by an hour. Daxing has only 1 terminal and it is star-shaped.I will be flying into Beijing Daxing arriving 6.35am and planning on catching a domestic flight to Xi'An.
How much is required to clear immigration in Beijing and check-in again for my domestic flight in the same airport? Say if my next flight to Xi'an is at 9am, can I make it?

You have to look at the flight timings for Daxing. At the moment, there's only SQ flying direct between Singapore and Daxing. Daxing to Singapore is at 9.20am. Which means you'll need to wake up damn early to get to the airport at 7.20am.Hi All,
Planning a first time trip to Beijing in April and bringing my 14 month toddler as well.
Wanted to tap on the experience of the group here. I realised that there are 2 airports in Beijing and both have like express trains to the city area for connection to metro. So I was wondering if there is any difference in which airport I choose to land at? Or are both equally convienent? Is taking Didi to the city better a better option?
I read that most Didi or taxi don't have child seat. Is it okay if I just carry my kid on the lap for the journey?
Also if anyone has any recommendations on family friendly hotels to stay at it would be great. Especially if the hotels provide a baby crib. Is Wangfujing and Qianmen a good area to stay at that is easily accessible to the main attractions?
For travelling to the main attractions, is it easier to take the metro or just use Didi?
Thanks all in advance for your help.
It's your choice of airline that determines your airport. Departing directly from Singapore, Air China and SIA use PEK. SIA is supposed to switch to PKX. China Eastern uses PKX. The taxis don't require child seats so you can have your kid in your lap. You will have to check if you can install Didi. I have better access to street-hail taxis than I do here in Singapore. Both Wangfujing and Qianmen are great for the attractions in the palace area.Hi All,
