You all notice only 2 ropes used to secure the concrete slab?
Grossly inadequate!
Very sad, someone negligent, another dead.
ya and it’s so bloody common to see such practices on the road. Actually, I doubt even 10 straps can sufficiently secure such heavy load.

Sometimes, I’ll see big circular cement blocks also “secured” by just some straps or thin metal bars at the sides. Really what a joke. The authorities are just waiting for 1 big accident to happen before they will review this kind of safety negligence.

knn it's a ****ing skill sia, this guy should go be stunt driver for Jackie chan

how tf do you drive until a ****ing reinforced concrete block which possibly weighs as half as much as your vehicle slides off it
Actually it is less about the driving than about getting the securing of the cargo right in the first place, which lazy workers may skip the proper steps to save time.

Nowadays so many of these kind of accidents.

The owner are responsible for not promoting safety.

Highly likely that owner will push the blame to the driver, he could claim he told all drivers to secure cargo properly but this one ignored.

this kind as in concrete stuff topple over on another motorist

I've seen a whole sheet of metal rebar mesh slide off the back of the trailer - the strap/s broke when the vehicle made a turn.

The whole mesh sheet slid off, landed on the road.

No body injured.

Imagine this falling off and landing on a passing car/motocycle/pedestrian...

All the sharp pointy ends - get skewered like BBQ chicken wing...

A few years back, had one local incident where a private charter bus with international school students onboard got hit by loose construction building material being transported...

Can't remember exact details...

imo, it's frankly impossible for it to slide off if due care was taken during driving

takes a special kind of skill for it to slide off unless ebrake or drift

no physicist but even if it was secured incorrectly, the added weight should make it close to impossible to slide off in normal conditions if due care was taken
