There was a glitch in their order page. The CSO says the TP-Link Archer BE805 is currently out of stock and will be restocked on Friday. So we can only choose Asus BT-10 2-pack during these two days. For 6Gbps recontract the price will be additional $12 for Asus BT-10 2-pack = $44.90 / month.

Just re-contracted online and checked-out. delivery of router BE805 tomorrow, and ONT installation next Monday.

Website very glitchy, at checkout page, I input my promo code twice, and system accepted the $15 off/mth twice

The good news is we can have Asus router for 6Gbps if we sign up before Friday

Based on Asus BT-10 2-pack, is it better to go for 6Gbps at $44.90 / month or 10Gbps at $50.90?

yes I noticed that too but once everything completed, they will email you the contract and it stated:
2. Customer’s Instalment Device Add-on is as follows: TP-Link Archer BE805 at $0.00(with 9% GST) per month for 24 months
They updated to $44.90 with Asus BT-10 2-pack. I hope they don't mess up the order cos I prefer Asus router 😅.

I also want to know getting the free router on upgrade to bt10 which one more worth?

Depends on what you want to do.

If you want to sell the router to offset the subscription price, ZenWiFi BT10 twin-pack is more worth it even with the S$12 per month top-up.

Rough price in Carousell for BNIB units:
TP-Link Archer BE805: S$360
Asus ZenWiFi BT10 twin-pack: S$800

If you need a mesh solution, go for the Asus ZenWiFi twin-pack and pay the S$12 per month top-up.

If you want to keep single router for own use, then I tend to like TP-Link Archer BE805 a bit better as it has a faster CPU. But then Asus ZenWiFi BT10 will have more FW features and longer FW support. So both are okay choices.

The above is just my personal opinion.

Either way you are getting a superb recontract deal from M1.

Hi, I also received the recontract email for HomePac 6Gbps. When I went through the application process, I noticed I had to choose a date for the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) Installation.
I would like to ask: 1. Is the installation necessary for existing customers? and 2. Is the installation free?
Thank you in advance.

It is a PWP offer based on a report from one M1 user, S$21 per month x 24 month = S$504. It is also a very good deal.

But I am not sure if you can still get the above PWP offer after getting the above special 6Gbps offer. You may have to try your luck.

BTW, I believe the offload price of ZenWiFi BT10 and Archer BE805 may drop soon with the M1 offers.

Eh, wait, is the sign up page actually working now?
Still seeing some "%" icons instead of checkboxes to select the "$15 off for 24 months" option.

At the checkout page, the ZenWifi BT10 is shown to cost $12 per month.

Yes that is correct for M1 6Gbps plan.

S$21 per month for Asus ZenWiFi BT10 twin-pack is a different offer for existing M1 users (PWP offer), no need to sign new contract.

Sigh, even with such a good deal, it doesn’t matter if your area is not eligible for the 6gbps and 10gbps plan.

It’s possible to not recontract and just re-sign up as a new customer to get 1gbps on $29.90 plan but why bother jumping through the hoops for an inferior plan.

Sell the bundled router and your effective price will be well below S$30.

If you feel S$360 is a hard sell for Archer BE805, then sell at S$300 for quick deal. Effective price will be S$32.90 -S$12.5=S$20.40 per month.

That is why Starhub 5Gbps offer at S$29.55 per month is very popular in this forum.

M1 is too slow to roll out the XGS-PON based plans.

actually, i not need cash urgently and as someone working in IT and like to optimze my home lan/wifi, i hate to see 6gb go into waste. i rather use BE805 to replace my existing asus rt-ax55 (m1 prev provided). just want to be sure the deal is solid before i board ship and set sail for next 24 months =)
