While it is good to spend time talking with child, sometimes the process could subtly cause the child to experience parentification (indirectly impose or self-impose by the child to provide emotional support to the parent).

A child of that age is unlikely to know how to provide emotional support to the parent, in turn, it would affect one’s psychosocial development.
