this gov better don't build it ... otherwise we will all be doomed ... can't even ensure MRT trains don't breakdown, can't even lessen the flood condition during monsoon time, and yet they still want to talk about what nuclear power ... they better don't touch it ...

If the study takes another 20 years, might not live long enough to see it. :(

Investing in fake sciences, no wonder GST keep going up

AI Overview

While the concept of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) is real, many critics argue that the current hype around them is largely "fake" because no commercially viable SMRs have been built yet, with most designs still in development and facing significant challenges related to cost, safety, and regulatory hurdles, leading to concerns that they may not be a feasible solution as currently presented.

Key points to consider:
  • No operational SMRs:
Despite significant discussion, no SMRs are currently operating on a commercial scale anywhere in the world.

  • High development costs:
Many SMR projects have been abandoned due to escalating costs and delays, raising concerns about their economic viability.

  • Regulatory hurdles:
Building and deploying SMRs often faces complex regulatory processes, further delaying their implementation.

Electricity will become very very cheap for SG.

Making SG even richer in the future.

Really envy SG. Got foresight make good decisions for the future to ensure the economy remains strong, SGD strong, more high paying jobs.

This will make SG a very attractive place for Data Centres that need a lot of electricity.

Producing energy will become cheaper, but energy costs will not.

This is ”Profits Above People” party, ok?
