That's a good offer!
Update: I just recontracted this offer via M1 app too.

Upgraded from my current 500Mbps at $30 to this 1Gbps at $25 and added $2 for BE230 router

M1 is fast. Recontracted 1 hour ago and they just turned on the 1Gbps service. There was a period of disconnection and I unplug and restarted both the ONT and router. Got the internet back up again!

@xiaofan how is this router for 1gbps ?

Archer BE230 is good enough with dual 2.5G ports and three 1G ports, dual band BE3600 (no 6GHz band).

It is even good enough for 2.5Gbps plan as well. In fact it is the free router given for M1 2.5Gbps plan and 3Gbps plan.

If you are talking about TP-Link EX520 router then no point that is a lousy one.

Is the recontract plan with Archer BE230 good?
Tempted to consider moving to other ISPs to grab good deals.

M1 6Gbps at S$34.90 per month for new users is much better than this one in terms of value, if it is available in your area, with Archer BE805 (resale value at S$300+).

If M1 6Gbps is not available in your area then this M1 1Gbps is a so-so offer for new users. Take note S$24.90 per month is only for existing users.

My promo is the be230. Maybe I should try to ask for the 6gbps since it's the most oo hua plan. Else just sign as new plan?

It seems to be a firmware bug and intermittent issue. You can go to the ZenWiFi BT10 thread to see if you can sort out the issue. Or you have to wait for Asus to fix the issue.

But have you updated to the latest FW?

Same for me, can’t Next.
We are too late, the most possible scenario is:
initially it supposed to have 3 Routers to select above the proceed page: one router is free, another two need to add monthly 6.xx and 13.xx respectively. Now looks all taken. So no more Router selection and cannot proceeds.

Try the work-around mentioned in the ZenWiFi BT10 thread. If you have not enabled HTTPS then it will be
http:// 192.168.50.1/ internet_speed.html

Reference:
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/asus-zenwifi-bt10-discussion.7067525/page-10

Here's the direct link to the BT10 speedtest page:

https:// 192.168.50.1:8443 / internet_speed.html

And yes, confirmed it doesn't always work.
Today is a good day, works most of the time.

Speed-wise, getting 5.6 down and 1.5 up.

I am currently on th 500mbps, fixed line and1GB mobile data card at $29.90. Does the 1GB plan at $24.90 have that too?

Yes.

Note: the bundled free router (TP-Link EX520) is very lousy so you may want to top up S$2 per month for the Archer BE230, if you do not have a good existing router.

I see that different packages come with either "FREE Bespoke SurfValue (Mobile line)" and "FREE Bespoke SurfValue Service (0.5GB Mobile Broadband)"?

Whats the difference? Does anyone have details on the SurfValue (Mobile line)?

Hello, are you able to advise whether this promotion will be the best/cheapest in the market so far? advisable to recontract at 24.90 with 2X24 = 48 for Archer BE230 or take up 6Gbps?

Hopefully M1 offer recon pricing for this 1Gb upgrade plan else LL got to pay extra $15.75 ($40.65/m) since 500Mb plan no more liao!

How long to wait before M1 upgrade speed after confirming order?
