1) Owner can choose to downgrade with balance left
2) Owner can choose to upgrade to 5 room resale with some balance left
3) Owner can choose to upgrade to Condo with abit of topup.

All options are on the table.
Perhaps migrate to JB

Sell high, buy high. How much money is still inside your pocket after you pocketed the profit?

Plus still need to pay back CPF+accrued interest. Then if you are decoupling and buy private, then just suck one person's CPF. How much of the profit do you need to pump in to make it to the min 25% mark?

Assuming 1 pax get 600k, any new 99 yr OCR new launch is going at 2.4k psf. One 3 bedder could cost you 2.4M.
All the money just nice pump into the deposit nia. Plus have to tank a 5k cash mortgage loan.

Unless he has another place to stay and this one becomes pure profits

Ppl got choice on what to buy

Actually quite strange as buyer did not need to pay so much. Quite sure there will be other units put up for sale after MOP asking for lower… somemore not higher floor… maybe someone washing
