might as well get those 300 to 400 chair and if spoil just get new one

i spent near 1.4k and i am still waiting for an answer on the mirra2 mesh defect after just 10 months. See luck one since there are redditors who get 3 of these and only one have defect, etc
my last chair was $400+ from vhive and it lasted 7-8 yrs or something lol

Yeah although one wonders if the back support is as good. It seems that the new aeron/mirra chairs are lighter, less durable, uses less materials and more sustainable plastic. Many, including me, dont believe that HM uses less materials to be more sustainable lol. It is just to save money and have customers replace chairs instead of using them for 20yrs. No way that a chair which uses 22-25% less materials can be as durable as its predecessor.

Audiosg finally replied that they have ordered the part that needs replacement. Hopefully i get the eta soon and it isnt that long. And yeah haha, i have never had any home or office chair give such trouble either and this chair costs much more than others zzz

thanks for the reply, i just hoot sihoo m59pro for $148 + $60 (shipping), dont want to spend 1.2k on HM and it torn a few yr later

sihoo spoil 3 yr later, just hoot another sihoo

its predecessor not much complain on mesh torn, maybe remastered as you said less materials or lighter chair mean less dense mesh and thinner mesh, ended up spoil easily

btw the mesh how much? the last i read from here is 250 or 300 (cant remember)

U can just google. Lighter, uses less materials and uses recycled materials. Recycled plastic can have quality issues. Build quality drop according to reddit, etc. I mostly google on mirra2 which is 25% ish lighter than mirra1 zz. This is a backward move. That is a good price but not sure how good sihoo back support is though

Then again, alot of household appliances, etc are like that these days. Companies want people to replace so they earn more money zzz

That is a hefty price for just a mesh. How long did u wait to repair the mesh?

The mirra2 backrest is out of stock and so, I have to wait around 8-12 weeks just for that part to be in stock. I believe that there are many others replacing that part too and thus, it is out of stock zzzz.

Haworth Fern has a pretty firm seat but really the armrest and overall quality isn't nearly as good as the leap v2 to me. If you're very used to the leap v2's shape its going to be hard to change to other chairs

I'm quite used to it tbh but body condition changed so I'm looking to explore for more suitable options. Thanks for the suggestion, I will check out their showroom.

My 3 Aerons bought from unwantedimports are still working though.
Other than changing the wheels a few times, no more problem after they change to their new wheels.

I bought during the VRzone era probably at least 15 yrs ago,
I remember it was already selling at nearly 2k back then, that Xtra really earned big.
Lucky we had MO back then.

My classic Aeron has a small peel on the mesh but still okay.
I'm thinking of selling it off, don't know can sell how much

The other few are all remastered bought during launch few years back.
Remastered is definitely more comfy for me.
Prior to that, I had Think chair. Durable but really don't see much ergonomic features.
I took the leather seat and my balls were sweaty everyday. The headrest deformed like crazy.

I had slipped disc twice while i was on it then i changed to Aeron with no problem since. The ergonomic is really solid. Slipped disc was really no joke, it's like constant cramp for every tiny movement. Can't shift between positions at all. The chair was my only pain relief.

Read from somewhere before during covid alot spoilt, suspect spam too much sanitizer and broke the structural of the plastic or clothes have oxidative agent. I remember they improved already.

I slouch and apply a lot of pressure at certain points also never break.
I remember got one guy here told me he even go steam his mesh, dun spoilt also hard. :s13:

Anyone spray paint their aeron chair before?

Can intro matching color spray print for aeron classic black? My posturefit plastic at the back discolored and turning white.

Thank you.

dont spray, home spray tend to fall off quite easily especially since you sitting on it will heat up the chair

mine also tear after 2 years. In fact my atlas headrest also torn at the same time.

Super weird.
Same here, both aeron have a tear. The backmesh and headrest I bought during Covid doesn't last compared to my office aeron. Lucky audiosg got help to replace mesh at some cost.

You can consider this $144, basically a Sihoo M57 PRO but cheaper price
