Which side of the PIE Expressway is poorer and richer ?

Can Tan See Leng head banner dodge the hammering ? ?

Geylang east side looks much more older. There are no new public housing being built on that side for for decades. But the multi story carpark like got quite some luxury cars. :s22:

Meanwhile circuit road side looks more rejuvenated. Constantly got new bto estate came up. They did more on the circuit road side, including beautifying the environment. Which often also come with the new housing.

Just happen that the park connector also pass through on the circuit road side. Thus shun-bian beautify the surrounding along the park connector.

Ya

Until today I'm still wondering why would LKY walked off right in the middle of parliament session when she's giving her speech
Substance less
Waste of time

A necessary evil
But at least at his level he won't have to put up with it

in a freak accident, WP will recruit ministers who suddenly out of job to continue be the ministers until things are stable. for the benefit of singapore, the ministers will change sides and work under WP. WP do not have talents to lead the country now, and they need time.

Ask yourself why you need to vote opposition. What has WP done that is different from PAP? Did they present an alternative vision? Did they deny climate change like Trump? Promote chinese supremacy instead of multiracialism? Can they give more handouts than PAP? Reduce GST? Lower COE? Build bigger flats?

If they promise to do all of the above, then at whose expense? What is the consequence? If they cannot, and they do what PAP does then why vote for a lite version?

Before redrawing the electoral boundaries, maybe. Now, things will likely remain status quo cos:
1. New SMCs are surrounded by MIW strongholds - they did this in the past to disincentivise voters from voting for alternative parties.
2. Jurong was ‘chopped’ to save Desmond. PSP no chance.
3. Bukit Batok SMC tio absorbed. SDP no chance.
4. Marine Parade absorbed McPherson. WP no chance. North-east side sama sama.
5. There appears to be more silent gainers than vocal losers amidst high cost of living.

At worst, MIW might lose one GRC - this might only be possible if WP steps out of comfort zone and collaborates with PSP. Even so, they won’t lose too much cos MP numbers increase liao.

WP--again--忠诚反对派 Loyal opposition
Aljunied almost intact, just 3% voters migrate to Tampines.. WP still win lah..
SEngkeng GRC, hougang smc same boundary right ? so WP still win again...

so, WP another good 5 years as 忠诚反对派 Loyal opposition haha

She is safe this time because she’s hiding back in the GRC. Unless WP somehow can create one A Team with really credible members inside to kickout that traitor See Leng and Concert Tong and send her packing too.
She was never not safe even when competing in smc. Which oppo heavy weight have balls to compete in smc against TPL? Say until she need GRC to hide in really laugh die me. I suggest send PS lead WP team in and fight. Since TSL and ET so hated for sure PS can win right? Why balls shrink don’t dare?

Looks like the ground is not so sweet for Lawrence Wong, Pritam better standby to be PM in a freak situation

GE2020: Total votes: 2.5m PAP (61%) = 1.5m votes = 77 seats.
Opposition (39%) = 1m votes = 10 seats.

every ''watershed'' GE (except the one 2015 because somebody died) it looked like PAP will ''lose big"" but in the end still super majority.

so prease dun tok cock and try to be reverse IB.

That 70% was against Goh Meng Seng, a weak opponent who does not believe in walking the ground

It does not require any popularity for PAP to defeat the likes of GMS or Lim Tean

70% is top performer though. Even a half past six oppie will garner around 35%z

WP would have done better if the NSP clown had not made derogatory remarks about motherhood. He caused many female voters to swing towards PAP
Not nearly enough to make a dent, srsly. Bernard went home with 33.something % votes … swing votes if no Cheo Chai Chen also give him mid to upper mid 30s in % at best.

She’s good not only with the old but the young as well … her ward considered old people area, lack of childcare services … build BTOs put 1 childcare, the young families moving in need to fight with families from the older estates for slots, then finally they increase the number of childcare and more people able to send their kids to childcare nearby … she takes the credit … this already buy over all the young families.

Her volunteers are mostly young, unlike places like Bishan Toa Payoh where the volunteers are senior citizens themselves … Bishan Toa Payoh you go MPS, the unker volunteers write your letter is use 1 finger tap 1 key at a time :s13: her MPS uses tertiary students and young adults to write letter, law undergrad advise legal issues … and best part you know who is issuing NTUC vouchers to old folks who go to MPS just for the vouchers? A primary school kid … child of 1 of the letter writers.

So no, don’t assume that only old people support her.

Likely can retain seats but a bit challenging to make headway. Votes from naturalised citizens will likely be more than enough to offset younger opposition voters. :)
