These small trash parties only chope seats and give PAP candidates a free ride into parliament. Voters want candidates to have long term serious engagement with them and not appear 3 months before elections to beg for votes and make lots of noise online and in rallies only to go on hibernation after elections. That's why NSP going to Marine Parade will chop and confirm lose deposit. Although younger Singaporeans are more open to voting opposition, they are still choosy about the opposition contesting as they want serious opposition and not those very noisy on social media or dormant in between elections.

WP is forced to send team even if its a suicide team to Tampines due to parts of Aljunied GRC being cut and pasted into Tampines GRC but due to WP being better known, those trash parties that create 3 or 4 corner fight like NSP or PPP is certain to lose their deposits

From the looks of their possible Tampines team it do looks like a suicide team. But its a good opportunity to test water and kick out NSP. If they perform better than expected, the action would be in 2030.

WP did walkabout in Tampines for 5 years already looks like they will send a weak team to contest since PAP disturb their territory and cut part of Aljunied GRC into Tampines
