I wonder what magnitude on the Richter scale a base station can withstand. I was surprised that the air traffic control tower collapsed and unsure if ATC towers at other airports could have withstood the same earthquake. Apparently, this happened in Naypyidaw, about 100 km in a straight line from the epicenter.

It’s also true that those posting videos were generally safe. If their loved ones were gone, injured, or trapped, they would likely be too overwhelmed to be active online.

I found the evacuation in Bangkok quite orderly. People rushed out, but there was no stampede. I wonder if Singapore could measure up to that standard.

Now BTS opening. Shopping malls also starting to open.

Yesterday jia lat all closed. Even grab they didn pick up ppl. Ppl who went out to Chinatown , etc had to walk back . Come back only 10pm . Jin jia lat.
