If I register today (29th Mar which is the last day) but deposit tomorrow, then, will not be eligible for the promotion right (e.g. $688 for top-up of $150k) ? All (registration + top-up) must be performed by today?

Yes, need to be funded today. Process is superfast cos everything is online. From experience amount will be earmarked mid month around 16 -17 mth until 18 Aug 2025. $688 will be credited once funds are earmarked . BUT not sure when interest rate will fall...

and fully withdraw on the following day, will I be getting the 3% interest for that specific Sunday ?

Logically should recv,
makesure to leave in $100 there for policy to be active,
but say you deposit $10k 1day interest only $0.85 cents. If you deposit more than 10k, your effective interest wont be 3% anyways.
In either case not worth it, rather park in gxs nr maribank if its temporary!

But the singlife needs a min 800 topup per period and returns 3% (2.5+0.5 bonus) between $800 up to the 1st $10k.

This gimmick...

So i add 10k today, zero the account on 01 April then top up back the 10k on 02 April to meet the condition?

its 3.5% (3+0.5 bonus), and even if the $800 topup is tricky but the base 3% on 10k itself is fuss free.

Can earn the 0.5% top-up bonus interest for the whole top-up period as long as top up by the end of the period? Or only start earning from the day of top-up?

you only earn the extra 0.5% in the next top-up period / bonus return earning period.

so it is best to top up on the last day of the top-up period, so that the next day onwards you'll be earning the extra 0.5%.

e.g.
top-up period: 1 Mar - 31 Mar
bonus return earning period / next top-up period: 1 Apr - 30 Apr

top up to $10,000 on 31 Mar, and the $10,000 will earn 3% + 0.5% from 1 Apr - 30 Apr. The $10,000 will still get 3% on 31 Mar (that day only).

matter of time UOB, DBS will follow suit. guess we have to get used to 2.xx% or even 1.xx% soon?

Can’t just see 1 dimensional. Interest was increased for a reason. So need to see the net effect.
