Seems like Deja vu of 1930 depression, it all started with tariffs and decreased world trade

Since we are not increasing our taxes for US goods, then this whole thing shouldn’t directly affect us.
US is only increasing their tariffs / taxes on all THEIR IMPORTS. That’s all.
If you all are afraid US goods might EVENTUALLY be more expensive, then just don’t buy their goods lo. US goods are all the while expensive anyway. You can always buy things from Europe, Japan, China, Malaysia, etc. Your money your choice, isn’t it.

import or export.. ultimately the price will rise... even if trump successfully revived their industrial age..
Given their currency, work ethic , union,. and labour policy.. things made in USA will be expensive. Just imagine Iphone would cost if every single parts is made in USA (i know it's impossible) and assemble in USA.

the world would need to stand up to this .. try to avoid buying things or at least use the least part from USA.. Let's start with Scrapping our purchase order for F35

Tarriffs lead to less trade, and SG is a major shipping port.

Greater economic uncertainty means companies less willing to expand or invest, means less new jobs or worse retrenchments.

No new jobs and investments means people less willing and able to spend. Means less demand for goods.

And the cycle continues.

With high inflation and living cost here as well as the upcoming of RTS and our gahmen strongly recommend businesses to setup shop in JB

Moreover with so many businesses and shop closing down and restructuring

Now with the increase export tariffs, likely more gloomy for our economy

Our gahmen is only good at talking and saying the obvious but when come to work and finding opportunities and lower down cost and inflation back home they is suck

Unlike Malaysia Anwar and other foreign leaders
