So many people keep harping on CSM. Vast majority of PAP Mps not like better than him also, most of them mostly keep quiet. Most of the PAP MPs don't even know who are they also.
Think if got observed, they are growing in the likes of incumbent. Note that their people have come and go but they still grow steadily. Many are starting to look at them as a party, not so much individual.

Like incumbent, only few will rise to the top and stay longer. The rest, the backbencher especially, think few terms niah they rotate them liao. As long as the anchor few influence strong enough, the rest need to constantly refresh to keep the good one coming in bah.

Really hope WP wins Marine Parade - Braddell Heights GRC. I can't stand Edwin Tong and Tan See Leng and hope they get voted out.

Smiles and thumbs up greet WP team at Marine Parade – Braddell Heights

SINGAPORE: New Workers’ Party member Harpreet Singh wrote about the warm reception the WP team receives at what is now Marine Parade–Braddell Heights GRC, shining a light on the work that Nathaniel Koh and Fadli Fawzi have put in on the ground for the past few years.

Mr Singh, a senior counsel of the Supreme Court of Singapore, wrote on Tuesday (April 1) that the response of residents has been ā€œWarm, generous, *(and) deeply encouraging.ā€

ā€œAs Nat shared, some elderly residents don’t even need an introduction to usā€”ā€œI see your logo, I know already,ā€ they say with a smile and thumbs up to the WP’s hammer logo on our t-shirts,ā€ he added.

Mr Singh has been part of the WP team going around the various estates at Marine Parade for the past 18 months.

He noted that Messrs Koh and Fadli had been on the WP slate that contested at Marine Parade GRC in the 2020 General Election. Although the ruling People’s Action Party had a heavyweight team, including two ministers and the then-Speaker of the House, the WP team won 42 per cent of the vote.

This showed that WP had gained ground at Marine Parade GRC since the 2015 GE when it received 35.95 per cent of the vote. The WP team that year included current Sengkang MP He Ting Ru and former Non-constituency MP Yee Jenn Jong.

ā€œThat result, in what many consider a traditional PAP stronghold, shows the substantial level of support among Singaporeans for a more balanced politics in our country,ā€ Mr Singh added.

He also wrote that in spite of having full-time jobs and young families, Messrs Koh and Fadli have continued their work on the ground since 2020, showing up nearly every week, connecting with residents and hearing out their concerns.

Since the electoral boundaries have been redrawn, the WP team on the ground has expanded its outreach to the new areas of MacPherson, Mountbatten, and parts of Potong Pasir. It has also been giving out Hari Raya goodies to families and attending events in the community.

ā€œMoments like that remind us: the groundwork and door-to-door visits matter. And that trust must be earned, not just during elections but during the time in between. Our team is here to listen, to learn, and to serve. And it’s our pleasure doing so,ā€ said Mr Singh.

Both Mr Koh and Mr Fawzi are members of the WP’s Central Executive Committee.

Mr Koh is the Deputy Treasurer and a former president of the WP Youth Wing. Having been with the WP since at least 2009, he was also a Secretarial Assistant to party chief Pritam Singh from 2016 to 2020. He works as an IT professional and is married with two young children.

Mr Fawzi has been with the WP since 2013, assisting with Meet the People sessions and other grassroots activities.

He currently conducts monthly policy sessions for members and volunteers. By profession, he is a lawyer with Inkwell Law Corporation and specialises in litigation work. Like Mr Koh, Mr Fawzi is also married, and he and his wife have one daughter.

WP has a very strong team this GE2025.
Harpeet Singh, Dr Ong Lue Ping, Michael Thng, Jackson Au, Kenneth Tiong, Tan Kong Soon are just some of the many well qualified candidates we have seen so far.

AI jin scary sia. But yes. Seems like more people are willing to join Oppo. Have to thank Sengkang residents

They always wanted the mandate.
We already gave the mandate for 60 years.

And how many of them take their position seriously to attend or be absent for most of the meetings ?

How many of them seriously walked the ground without their finger point and camera swinging volunteers ?

How many of them really raised a SERIOUS questions that we want ANSWERS ?

What is the most frequent keyword that we are getting for the past 5 years with NO concrete solution ?
I guess all of you know the answer.
Plastic bag charge us ,make us do the cleaner job at hawker while hawker increases their food price more and more.

History showed dictators and tyrants all have no good endings one and their empire will eventually fall one day so no matter how hard they try to cling onto the power that’s long overdue for change, the more people are gonna get fedup with things and wish for an alternative voice.

But normally to overthrow such there will be many losses of life. Nobody wish to see that happen. That is why we need to push the country to a more democratic one

How many more people must suffer before the empire falls? Always such a long process. Where is fairness?
