If one on one fight, confirm get back deposit. To get back deposit requires to poll min 12.5% of votes. There is min of 25% opposition voters in any ward.. Only exception was Tan Cheng Bock winning 88% in Ayer Rajah against DPP Tan Lead Shake in 1991 I think. These days there are no longer such winning margins possible for any PAP candidate

Yes, last time more hardcore PAP supporters. In current era, the biggest margin of win goes to Tharman ie around 78% in 2015. Even I think this margin of win may not happen in any constituency this year or perhaps may never be repeated again in future elections

one of the party’s founding member was this guy called Sebastian Teo. He often talks at rallies resembling someone who is spoiling for a fight. Yes, the party is badly run and lacks direction. At one stage Steve Chia was one of their party member and he had a decent showing in CCK SMC and got in as NCMP. Alas he was embroiled in the scandal and soon become irrelevant. For many years the party was like dormant until the 2011 GE where they got Nicole Seah but the presence of Nicole Seah merely masked away the inadequacies of their party.

This NSP has been around for 40 years and still havent won any single seat means the whole party has no direction and buay kan

Think is RDU who intend to contest Nee Soon. They got come during the week when they say they wanted to contest Nee Soon (at the time when PPP say they will give way to RDU). None of the big 3 will contest NS usually. You stay in Nee Soon GRC?
