Sad, it's your given right but you find it not important and let the rest do the job for you.

Because you don't understand your right to vote that u find it a waste of time.

Any neighbouring ppl will swap citizenship with you and vote In a heartbeat.

Better throw your citizenship and move to Africa.

I dislike free loader citizens like you who just hang around for the public holiday.

Exactly. Unless due to medical reasons, it is extremely important to exercise our voting rights as a citizen.

You can vote for PAP if you buy their ideas and happy with them, you can vote alternative parties if you think you want to see change. You can even void your vote to show to the incumbent you are not happy with them but the challengers are not up to standard.

Nope, voiding one's vote is the stupidest way to show the incumbent that one is not happy. Cos neither side gets the vote & the incumbent will be smiling actually as they have the numbers.
If really not happy with the incumbent, one just vote for other parties instead which will +1 for the other side

Seriously, dont void the vote. It says nothing because the vote is invalidated. The final count is based on valid votes.

The elections show very much that sg is not really united.

"The 62-year-old takes home about $2,900 a month, and spends $200 a week on groceries. He said most months he lives from pay cheque to pay cheque, and hardly has savings.

“I recently had to fork out $1,300 to buy a laptop for my son’s polytechnic studies. I skipped lunch for half a month,” he said.

$1300 / 15 = $86 per lunch

He eat lunch at Marriott?

What abt the sting of controversy from West Coast (iswaran) and marine parade (TCJ)?

Write abt that too? Remind us of their mistakes and round it up by saying everyone makes mistakes too?

If Harpreet and Sylvia Lim go to East Coast GRC, plus 1 of the 2 new guys who graduated from Harvard/Insead, there's high chance of winning.

My view is one of the MPs in Aljunied GRC has to step out from the comfort zone, after spending 10 years there! Replay the successful strategy of LTK stepping out of Hougang into Aljunied GRC!

I think TWM will step down. Was surprised PAP kept him around even after being relegated to backbench in 2020...
It the either of the new candidates are replace TWM, then by a few days or weeks I may see them during house visits 🙂

This is just the brutal truth!

Do you think if an opposition party makes an video on why you shouldn't do a void vote and how votes are actually counted, will it work?
