Any market expert can advice?

Given the high COE prices now and I have a need for a family car for the next 2-3 years
I have a need for a family car too for the next 4 to 6 years! I’m looking at Toyota Camry 2.5L but quite attractive to BMW 3 series

- Short term (below 1yr), low usage (under 10,000km/yr) = lease
- Even shorter term (below 6mths), low usage = car sharing
- Long term (anything more than 1yr), Unpredictable usage, famcar, long distance (more than 10,000km/yr) = buy COE car
- Long term, unpredictable usage, 30% of pay can cover car opex cost easily, can tank 40% of downpayment, famcar, long distance (more than 10,000km/yr) = buy brand new

buy as many as you can now. resell for profit easily since new cars going to be more expensive due to tariff

Fetch parents to medical appointment, run errands, go office

Save a lot of time and hassle compared to waiting for public transport
Other than "go office", what is the frequency of the previous 2 like?

got kids? They go childcare? How often they fall sick? Who's the primary caregiver - u or ur wife?

Best is buy new, pay in cash in full if you can afford it, it'll give you the cheapest cost per year.

You take loan, 4% interest cost on the 60% you loan.

You take lease 14-15% effective interest cost, but then you don't need worry about road tax, insurance and maintenance.

Pick your own poison based on your cashflow.
