I see it as mutualistic symbiosis. One side needs candidates of sterling credentials to win elections, the other wants a political fast track, or has ulterior motives.

Time will allow both parties to sieve out intentions and potentials. But right here, right now, WP can utilise them to win elections first.

I think it’s wrong to make this assumption that working for government means you must vote PAP. And voting for opposition does not mean you are anti-government.

it took great courage and determination to join opposition in SGP.

basically, it is hard to find job once the employers know you are from the oppo party vs the PAP.

even you are a business partner, it is hard to get govt tenders as well.

Eileen, I admire your courage and determination of joining the opp in the coming GE.

I'm very certain you know the path is very difficult and full of obstacles: you can never be employed by the govt or statutory board, even private companies also not willing to employ any opp candidate as their executive.
