Never had an opposition win a GRC until 2011 when WP won Aljunied GRC. Defeating George Yeo, then Minister for Foreign Affairs. Lim Hwee Hua, then Minister in PMO. Zainul Abidin, then Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Never had an opposition win a newly created GRC or held multiple GRCs until 2020 when the WP won Sengkang GRC. Defeating Ng Chee Meng, then Minister in PMO. Lam Pin Min, then Senior Minister of State for both Health and Transport. Amrin Amin, then Senior Parliamentary Secretary for both Home Affairs and Health.

Hope is powerful. One should understand one's civil responsibilities and vote in an informed manner, never apathetic.

PAP might have been led to think they would be up against NSP as NSP contested there in the last 2-3 GEs…

WP’s sudden and unexpected entry into the contest might have thrown PAP off guard.

We shall see if WP sudden decision to contest 10KKJ is a masterstroke or damage WP reputation on May 4th, right now most voters in Marine Parade, PAP, NSP and PPP are angry and mudsludge WP for their decision to contest 10KKJ
