As someone who are currently staying in taman jurong, its really nice to see that we have a solid opposition of choice this time round.

Tbh I think this is really a contest of having more voices in parliament then having them governing the whole govt. Its a nice state of option here to have this contest of party. Im looking forward to hear what PSP has to offer. Vote wisely.
Nice. Finally hearing someone here from Taman Jurong. My friends from Taman Jurong does not have good impression about Shawn Huang.

Can I know what's your impression of Shawn Huang?

Tbvh nothing special.

It is more of superficial stuff that was layed out (you call it usual upgrading etc). More so i didn't think its anything worth mentioning especially after tharman times.

Looking at the spectrum PSP has carries themselves even with the disadvantages of redrawn boundaries - I seen and heard, I hope many will think the same. No pointing to any parties here for fairness, we all can see for ourselves. Vote wisely.

I believe you can also stand up as a candidate in the next GE. Everyone in WP or PSP started out a volunteer or other capacity, before standing up.

Your face on national TV, fierce face has potential. Think about it.
I want to be approachable leh....:(

Must vote all PSP candidates to parliament. The only loyal, rational and constructive opposition.

Yup. There is a lot of media keeps saying Taman Jurong & Jurong Spring is PAP strong hold. I don't know if they are trying the play mind games. But I hope people in Taman Jurong thinks otherwise. I'm in Jurong Spring, it wasn't the same sentiments after Desmond Lee left Jurong Spring for Boon Lay. Shawn Huang was non existent and after Tharman left for president elections. He fled to Taman Jurong and were supposed to double hat both areas, but he's not seen after tharman left. Only see Dr Hamid a few times.

i've mentioned a lot a few pages ago, and some echoed my sentiments.

From Blk 505 market renovation sagat to him being missing and went taman jurong.

During CNY, he gave out free cakes at No.1 market, when asked if he will give out at Jurong Spring, he said next week. Till date, haven't see him, with the cake.

Alot things I feedback about maintenance since January hasn't been acted on.

Enough have been talked about policies shortcomings at the gov level. In the remaining days, must target individual candidates incompetence. Does SH have any screw ups??? Need to convince residents that SH is not TM. Instill in residents doubt on SH competency. 🤣🤣🤣

Of course make sure these are facts, don’t get sued at this point. 🤣🤣🤣

Don't get me wrong that PAP does their job in abit of the usual way. From what I can visualise Taman Jurong was not the same as Tharman when he was helmed - More towards the needs and care of citizens. More so a show and tell perspective from shawn. And character probably plays a part (google or reddit)

Maybe I could be slightly biased on Desmond with regards to housing policies. Those prime plus standard scheme or what not, handicapping young couples on housing properties and now governance on the gap for properties upgrading or what not.

I do look forward to having a voice in parliament, not a full mandate but at least a challenge. Cheers.

The Shawn Huang, blk 505 market renovation saga was in shinmin newspapers for a while. Screw up is a big word, I won't say screw up. But he should put more emphasis on the 505 market management on the tender for the fans and the seats.

End up, it's now on national newspaper.

The seating plan is one thing, the other issue is the ceiling fans. It is a 3 months renovation, yet they don't want install ceiling fans.

When it opened, I questioned the contractors there taking measurements on why never install fans.

They said the management refused to install fans, even though they proposed the big ass fans. I thought I hear wrong. But yes, it's the 505 management that refuse the fans.

If you been there, the market is very hot. Yes, they finally gave way last month and installed smaller KDK fans on the ceiling, but it's still very hot.

So the point is, 3 months of renovation makes things worse, and why waste the money?
