SDP, RDU, PPP, smaller parties and Independent = Complete wipeout + lose deposit

PSP = left with 1 NCMP.

WP = maintain current holding, mildly reduced margin of -2 to -4%

PAP = Win, increased lead. 67 to 70% of the votes.

just state your opinion without any caveat like I think because you're the ****ing expert/analyst

nobody is gonna sue you for stating your opinion

some "I thinks" are ok but not when it's peppered in every single sentence

My wish for PAP in the next 5 years...buddies rem to chip in

MP best practices
- Get together with the well liked/hardworking MPs like Tin Pei lin, Low Yen Ling, Sun Xueling etc to get their best practices for estate walk around, engaging residents, selecting and training volunteers etc. If really not a good estate manager, can train a good team to take care of the ward.

Cost of Living, Salary and jobs/ COE/ Transport/ Housing
- Bread and butter issues need to be addressed for Middle/middle-upper income soon before the struggling of sandwiched group goes unnoticed for another 5 years

Engaging the young
- Be a better listener especially for the younger generation. Action plans are more important for our kiddos as they goes to NS, finish Uni and find their first job, applying for BTO etc
- BTO issues need to be addressed. Whether is it poor workmanship or more units needed in the next 5 years?

What is a sample count and why do we have it?

Singaporeans will get an early indication of the possible outcome for a particular electoral division through a sample count, before the final result is in.

This is performed at the start of the counting process, according to the Elections Department website.

It helps to prevent speculation and misinformation from unofficial sources while counting is under way.

This is because the final election result could take many hours to be confirmed, especially if there is a close fight. Sample counts are also used by election officials to verify the results for an electoral division.

At the counting centre, counting assistants will pick up a random bundle of 100 ballot papers and count the number of votes for each candidate, or group of candidates in the case of a group representation constituency.

The votes are then added up, with weightage given to account for the difference in the number of votes cast at each polling station.

The sample count will be shown as a percentage of valid votes garnered by each candidate or group of candidates.

However, the public should still wait for the official announcement of the election result, as the sample count results could be different due to possible margins of error.
