Results are ‘very preliminary’: PAP Chua Chu Kang’s Tan See Leng

Chua Chu Kang GRC candidate Tan See Leng was seen entering Jurong-Pioneer Junior College counting centre at 9.35pm.

When asked about his observations at the counting centres that he had visited, he said the results were "very preliminary”.

"Let's see what happens,” he said, while in the car with PAP volunteers.

Chua Chu Kang GRC is facing a 2-way fight between the PAP and PSP.

PSP candidate S. Nallakaruppan, who also appeared at the counting centre with a solemn expression, said he congratulated PAP's Jeffrey Siow when they met at another counting centre.

“The odds are definitely in their favour,” said Mr Nallakaruppan, based on an early indication of the votes he had seen.
