PAP supporters gathered at Yio Chu Kang Stadium chanted “Ang Mo Kio” after the sample count for the GRC was announced.

A preliminary count of the voting slips saw PAP in the lead with 79 per cent of the votes, while PPP and SUP trailed behind with 10 per cent and 11 per cent of the votes respectively.
