Jalan Kayu is actually part of Sengkang area; and also part of the old Cheng San GRC; which is WP's stronghold. But don't know why WP doesn't send a stronger candidate there. Maybe WP wants Ng Chee Meng back as a Minister.
Ya but Jalan kayu that Fernvale area has always been under AMK GRC and they liked Gan the last time. Andre was a decent send for the area but he IS new and it is a new smc.

but with that said I don’t know why anyone can vote for ng

That it, the next few years we can see maybe future increase in GST, COL, higher COE, higher BTO and resale flat price, hike in transport fares and utilities. 🤷🏻 grumbling but still lighting

tot they say Jalan kaya was carved out from AMK GRC?

if it was carved out from AMK then this result already very good
Ang Mo Kio is a gerrymandered GRC; which actually includes part of the old Cheng San GRC which is WP's stronghold. Part of Ang Mo Kio GRC actually belongs to Sengkang area. Jalan Kayu is totally in the Sengkang area.
