Sengkang got retained with a larger WP margin and PAP completely dominated their guaranteed wins; otherwise (assuming NCM's margin holds) everything tracks.

All the mosquito parties (and to a smaller extent PSP/SDP minus CSJ) got completely smashed. The margins we're seeing are historic. Yet at the same time, with such a decisive swing, the happy silent majority is also very firm about keeping WP around as the credible opposition.

Other than the active threat to Singapore that NCM getting back in Parliament poses, I think this is all I can ask for.
Your prediction is almost similar to mine earlier in this thread where pap will win with bigger margins

It just proves that the only Opposition party the voters is only willing to vote for, is WP (except for CSJ's case).

no hope de lah.
it's just becos 物以類聚, oppo supporters like you and me, then our circle of friends also mainly same type. When we go volunteer, of cos lagi same type of pple lah, all very enthusiastic,
but walk the ground and come into contact w pple from all walks of life, then realized majority are bochup/selfish pple, or poor pple too busy struggling with making a living,
plus more and more new citizens,
like i said again and again,
last hope was 2011/2015.

Hope I'm wrong though.
No leh this time I volunteered I’m heartened by the number of gen z volunteers. And they are smart, kind young children who really want the best for Singapore. Can’t say the same for the millennials though :)

Not saying it’s great hope but more hope for them than the millennials who are still doing ok. If they’re the sheltered type then of course they will bo chap.

Anyway it’s none of my business. I childless in sg and will do my best with my foreign language lessons with my biz to go overseas bye bye hopefully by next GE I’m gone
