Actually WP consolidated it's position in this elections, and paved the way for a two party political scene. This is despite the PS and RK saga.

WP is also part of the reason, and I don't mean this in a bad way, for the poor showing of other parties, even PSP.

WP basically hogged the headlines, and voters basically compared their opposition candidates against the WP ones.

I think the political scene will change after this GE and like in past GEs, more good candidates will come forward and stand for WP.

even if WP rejects, its up to the one in charge to see if they want to offer to SDP

It's very clear the WP is an entrenched opposition party. Fortune don't favor WP this time but it's a very good showing all things considered.

I hope more would step up and volunteer. You don't have to stand but any type of help is helpful.

History has shown that to win GRC you need a lot of showmanship (LTK with Aljunied and Jamus with SK). Faisal's team argubly Mike Thng doesnt have that amount of showmanship as the former 2.

The real pap opposition is pap itself as it will fragment into 2 within the next 2 decades
