I added all the wards that pap and Workers Party contested, pap got 356283 votes while Workers Party received 357763.

This means 49.9% PAP to 50.1% to Workers Party. This is a huge deal.

While there is a nationwide swing that allowed pap to win by ridiculous margin against those "mosquito parties", Workers Party maintained their vote shares and remain unscathed.

NSP and PPP lost all their election deposits in those contests, while RDU and SPP will get ready to fold if a 3-party fight happens with PAP, Workers Party and them.
