There is something interesting.

All these things pop out strongly after the GE and not before.

Seems like someone wanted to block his path within the PAP/Govt after his win.

So either this group is wishing him to be booted out during GE or in this case now, to prevent him from gaining inwards within PAP.

Sounds like an early sign of in-fighting within PAP and amongst there, fractions.

how is his own doings unlucky? allianz was a red flag right from the start selling our state sponsored insurance to a private entity but he chose to go ahead. MOE incident was just him being an AH. like that changi prison should be called home of the unlucky.

The Income sale demonstrated clearly that he was not sharp enough to spot the implication down the road.

But he still won the election...

WAIT. According to his statements, means he only cut communication with that fella after he got arrested. Means he had constant communications with that guy prior to that. Not just that dinner photo.

Something is not right, how do we protest this to LW?

He said the deal was in good faith leh...

The sale of NTUC’s Income Insurance to German insurer Allianz was proposed in good faith and seen to be reasonable, said labour chief Ng Chee Meng on April 27, in response to criticism that the labour movement had not spoken up against the deal.

Speaking at the PAP rally for Jalan Kayu SMC, the single seat that he is running in, he said: “We thought in the labour movement that it was a reasonable deal.”

so the dinner they eat, who paid for it?
Is it eat super luxury food with wife, and who paid for it?
Gemini's answer

Section 165 makes it an offence for a public servant (including a Minister) to accept a valuable thing (which could include an expensive meal) without payment or with inadequate payment from someone involved with them in an official capacity, even without corrupt intent. The recent case involving former Minister S. Iswaran highlighted the application of this section to Ministers accepting valuable items and hospitality.

Ya, wait for part 3 🤣
"This dinner was one such engagement. It took place some time back. I learnt later about the police investigations and subsequent criminal charges against Su. Thereafter, I had no further interactions with him."

So, Ah Meng lim 50 cent kopi with Su a few times before Su was investigated ?

Fair enough explanations.

He also did not press further for key appointments.
Pls la, the next thing you will see in news is LW saying his govt lack enough talent, don’t have enough minister caliber people, etc, then invite NCM, and NCM “reluctantly” accept in order to serve the people and his country.
