i got a faint/thin green vertical line few days ago

so innocently hoping/thinking that the latest update can magically fix it, i went to apply the october update

then the faint green line become a thick green line

if faint/thin still ok la can still see the words, now the thicker line can cover some characters/numbers...

My friend s22u on and off got faint line and it slowly dissappear everytime after he reset the phone.

Then he quickly over trade for $880 to get zf6 instead.

Book appointment for the green line issue for S22 recently. they quote me almost $300.

nope it does not.
i asked samsung few days ago they asked me to pay $409 for my s21 ultra screen with green line

actually those screen got problems one, since warranty over and samsung quote so high in changing the screen, why not go to outside reputable shop? might be cheaper

all affected maybe can go to case to log a case. If the affected number is big enough, samsung will have to do something to save their reputation.

One day i woke up my S22 Ultra suddenly has this screen issue while using it.

I'm not sure if it is due to software update, as i read online after software update it may have caused it.

The question is - Everytime the system prompts "New software update available", do you all just update? Or it better & can be ignored?

Just very turned off by the green bar issue already. Planning to try pixel 10 since will be a TSMC chip finally.

My S22+ just got pink line a few days ago, anyone know any reputable repair shops i can go to? Looking to just extend life since S25 series not interesting to me

Sad to hear. How old is ur phone & did u observe any causes that triggered it? my S22 is still line-less but because i refrain from updating to latest firmware.

I bought 2nd hand one. bought last nov, updated sw a few times no prob... last update 8 Apr, 14 Apr got line, a very faint one... getting brighter and brighter now... lol

ok, sounds like it is triggered by firmware update. I'll hold back the update as long as I can.
