another possibility is a 3rd party gathered all the photos,
then released them strategically to achieve a political objective ...

Possible that there is a power struggle going on inside the PAP.

Actuslly this news not so shocking, tbh SG already had the reputation of being a Money-Laundering hub long before this, it is no open secret.

Alot of billionaires like to bring their dirty money come here to wash.

SG as a tax haven and money-laundering hub for MNCs and Billonaires, etc. are already known in the international community.



The timing all these evidence were provided to Charles Yeo (directly on cooling day itself) seems that the informant/whistle-blower does NOT want it to hurt PAP during the GE.

If provided during the GE period, think JK SMC, SBW SMC and Tampines GRC got change flip to opposition parties due to close margins if even of negative publicity.
Maybe even Punggol GRC too.

Cabinet appointments typically are revealed around 2-3 weeks after GE ended.

The fact that it immediately came out straight away GE perhaps meant that there is a person/faction trying to influence the CEC/Cabinet appointments.

NCM most probably will be a cabinet minister one, since everyone knows LHL like him but he is gone too.


Who knows how these leaks will hurt OYK/CHT, etc. too?


Perhaps both of them are out of running for DPM roles now.


And all these information being provided to Charles Yeo and KJ earlier (on Ridout B&W + UBS Trustee Sales) seems highly likely to be provided by someone in the government.

Since the informant/whistle-blower whom provided them all these information probably needs to be in a position where he/she can even retrieve all these records in the 1st place.

No way KJ/Charles Yeo can get all these information in the 1st place, someone is providing them and thus using them as proxies to deliver to the public.

Plus the TSL/Sham's bungalows purchase earlier this year reported by Bloomberg.

CCS's audio leaks 5 years ago might have ruled him out of the PM running at that time.

Not exactly sure too who is exactly the one whom baotoh S Iswaran (along with OBS).

My guess is like the same as some posters here, probably an internal job to influence the upcoming CEC/Cabinet appointments whilst not losing seats during the GE earlier so seems like an internal power struggle.



Of course at this point, everything are just conjecture as no one has solid concrete evidence. We just wait for what Charles Yeo has to reveal from the informant/whistle-blower whom has been providing him all these information all along.
