tempting to port my Singtel number to cmlink (200GB, 30GB china roaming) plan. a few questions:
1. can the cmlink china domestic number receive sms and china phone call?
2. how long is the porting? if it takes a while, does cmlink provide a temp singapore number?
3. does the cmlink china domestic number come at same time of singapore number?

1) yes.
2) depend. Mine was M1, within few hours.
3) I applied mine 1year ago. It was back to back. Port over activated then login online to select a Chinese mobile number...

For no. 3, You need to be with cmlink for at least 1 mth before you can applied for the Chine domestic number aka 1CMN addon.

PS: U will need to use passport as ID instead of IC.

yes

for No.2, is it like 1) signup 2) receive sim with temp number 3) put sim in phone and activate it 4) a few hours later receive sms saying old number is ported. 5) use as old number happily thereafter.

something like that.

have received the Cmlink SIM card. got a temp number after activation. during the night the Singtel number was ported it successfully. all went well.

tried to apply for 1 card multi number. the virtual new china number only available one month later. so I tried to link to my existing china number (I do have a china mobile number although plan to cancel the plan once virtual number is ready). however it was not successful. it sent an OTP to my china number and required me to verify it. but I could not receive the OTP on my existing china mobile line. customer support says there is some issue right now in china side to block the OTP so I have to wait.

Existing one is also china mobile. Under china mobile jiangsu province. I subscribed few years back. 120 rmb per month. Expensive for non china citizens that’s why plan to terminate it

Can change to the lowest costing one if you plan to retain the line.

Charged heftily. CMLink is more for data usage in China. Calls & SMS are considered roaming and since partner is Singtel, the charges are as exorbitant as Singtel's roaming charges.
If you really need to make calls, use SIMBA/Local CN SIM cards will be much better.

1GB roaming data for use in mainland China & Hong Kong SAR

3GB Asia roaming data for use in China Macau, China Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.

Is this total 4 gb to China ?

CMlink starting to lose its appeal having high autoroam data for China/HK....many of the MNVO now including these as part of local or regional data...

Thinking when and which MNVO to switch soon.

I'm going to China for a few weeks, and estimate will use around 20GB to 30GB of data.
I'm looking at the 200GB $7.7 plan, on the home page, it's says Data shared across Singapore, mainland China & Hong Kong SAR.
But if I click into the Sign Up now, it shows 200GB local data, 1GB roaming data for use in China.
So does this plan have shared 200GB data for China?

I'm thinking if the data can be shared in China, I will sign up this plan for 1 month, then cancel it after that, this seems to be a better choice than buying those eSIM from Shopee.
