Any good way to PREVENT bagworm moth eggs from showing up on HDB ceilings/walls?

I live on the 7th floor, i removed 10+ bagworm moth eggs from my room's ceilings/walls a few days ago. Today, i checked and 4 more have shown up.

No idea where they are coming from. I never see any moths flying around, just the eggs showing up on the walls and ceilings. Its supposed to be very rare for moths to fly into a HDB at this height and i do not have any trees outside my window.

Is there any way to PREVENT them from showing up? I can obviously remove them by hand but they wont stop showing up. Extremely frustrating.

You room must be damp due to Aircon.
Open windows to ventilate to keep room dry then less pests appearing.

didn't actually bother
either they drop off by itself or remain there, slacking :s22:

on non-lazy days, me would just suck it all in w/ a vac

Otherwise u hav to seal up or keep all openings closed
I find this advice strange because some people say to keep windows open to ventilate and others are saying to keep them closed. I cant do both obviously...

Can be done. Just need to understand the rationale behind the 2 advice.

Open window is for ventilation, ie let air in.

Keeping windows closed is to prevent the moths from getting in.

So what can be done to the windows to keep insects out but still allow ventilation?

Insect netting is one answer:

I have nets on all my opened windows and I still get these bagworm eggs on my walls. More of them during rainy season. I also wonder how they came in as I don't see them flying in my house. I even have a mosquito lamp in the house.

I stay higher floor than ts and have the same issue. So it is a matter of they come faster or got rid faster. Had lizard coming in from outside as well and they do not eat the bagworm
