I think should be the other way round ; I like herbs and spices, that's why I like Indian, Malay, Indonesian, Thai, and Peranakan food.

AEON card can earn points for rebates. BI and maybe other malls too (?), can also earn points from Daiso, and Tebrau I was told also Pet something shop. Oh, can also top up the wallet for payment, so only need 1 card. And oh, BI has beverage and maybe snack (?) machines for use with that card too.

I like Chinese food, also got spices.... The Dong Bei Chinese BBQ skewers sprinkle all those chili and cumin spice. Syiok
I'm not a fan of those food made spicy with primarily chili and/or pepper and nothing else/much. Eat when hungry, yes. But when I've a real craving for herbs and spices, only those others can make it my happy meal.

Mala anything is 🙅‍♂️ for me.

I think pepper can only find in Singapore. Ng Ah Sio is good.

NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh (Rangoon Road) https://g.co/kgs/4VBicjZ
Pepper BKT is known to be SG version, but can also be found across the causeway.

We're after all so close, many similar things can be found on both sides.

JOHOR BAHRU - Foreigners will need to pay more for fuel under the fuel rationalisation exercise, said Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

There are about four million foreigners in the country and they are enjoying about RM3 billion (S$912 million) to RM4 billion in fuel subsidies.

“There was a suggestion to increase the price of fuel and give subsidies to locals.

“We have rejected this move. We will target the 5 per cent who are ultra-rich in Malaysia and also foreigners,” Datuk Seri Anwar said in his winding-up address at the Parti Keadilan Rakyat national congress.

He urged the public not to reject the fuel rationalisation exercise, as most of the people in the country would not be affected, pointing out that Malaysia has one of the highest subsidy rates.

The Prime Minister also said that the government is prepared to review the implementation of an e-invoice system by the Inland Revenue Board to ensure it does not place an undue burden on small companies.

The e-invoicing initiative began in August 2024 for companies with an annual turnover or revenue of more than RM100 million.

The second phase started on Jan 1, 2025, for businesses with annual sales of between RM25 million and RM100 million.

The third phase of the full implementation will begin on July 1, involving all types of businesses, including micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Hello everyone

Will be going to JB this Friday after lunch by car. It's my first time going in on the eve of the school holidays. May I know if there is a likelihood of a traffic jam from past experience?
