Singapore laws favour singles.
For example a 35 year old single man/woman can buy an executive maisonette (Dennis chew) but a married couple can only buy 1 flat. If the married couple divorce then they can buy 2 flats. If 1 million couples divorced then there will be demand for 2 million flats.
There are only 1 million flats in Singapore so singles who buy big flats are living better than married couples with children

Married couple over 35 can buy one flat each as single, even more worthwhile, stay one rent out one

Singapore is a capitalism country and only favour the rich!

Rich single or married or divorce no problem one!

married couple can flip Prime BTO 4-room, Standard/Plus 4/5-room. and they get combined loan and grant assessments.

singles can only pay carrot head prices for resale. (or ballot for near zero chance low SES BBFA 2-room)

and dont forget have to wait till 35 first.

Hmm, okie, so one flat as in a HDB flat each for a married couple aged over 35? Or does the couple stay in a HDB flat but purchases another private property as one is listed as an occupier only?

I am same age as Dennis chew, he has an executive maisonette all to himself, I share my 4 room flat with my wife and son. Even my wife sister has her own flat. So my wife has 1/2 flat, I have 1/2 flat, my wife sister has 1 flat, Dennis chew has a 2 floor executive 150 m2 executive maisonette

Bruh i tot u wan to wack $260K all in when price drops.
I have $100,000 of Seatrium shares now, I will stop trading and wait for it to jump 10% to $2.25 then I will take profits. I have another $230,000 to triple down if it crashes 20%. 3 months ago it was $2.60, $2.05 is seriously cheap now. Even ocbc put fair value at $2.76.

10. Seatrium was trading above $3 1.5 years ago

Seatrium is not a dividend stock right?

If you are using $100k to trade, ever consider to diversifying it to 3 baskets.

Eg
$40k seatrium
$30k (banking, eg dbs ocbc uob)
$30k (telco, singtel starhub)

All are heavy weights with strong Temasek backings. And bcos all 3 are different sector, you can run off as long as anyone of them hit 1-2% by end of day or if they fall, hold them like what you do to Seatrium

I got $150k in shares

$100k in Seatrium (very volatile)
$25k in Genting (casino is lucrative)
$25k in soup restaurant (easy to manipulate)

Singtel last year only $2.20, now too high.
DBS I sell off because I take profit
