I prefer Lurpak, scs or golden churn. :o
I think lurpak or scs are okay too, golden churn not as nice and I don't remember trying the NTUC butter.

I like good unsalted butter. Don't know why the guy is complaining about the butter not being salty enough. Just add your own salt if you want saltier butter? Less salt is healthy.

The best butters taste good even when unsalted. I like thin slices on hot toast. Eat it like cheese. Shiok.

NTUC butter is made in Denmark.
It is acceptable.

Do not know what quality level the professional chef is referring to.

If want top grade no horse run butter - then buy Le Beurre Bordier butter. From France .

Can also try Echire butter. From France.

Can also try Paysan Breton butter. From France.

it doesn't look like a Danish product at all. Probably, made in China or some cheap country with a little bit of ingredient imported from or managed by Denmark.

Its salt level is lower than the other brands. I find others too salty and therefore like the NTUC one. Non-salted ones are just too bland.

People’s taste buds on salt are different. Depends how much salt they used to take since young.

If he is the same angmo chef i watched on tiktok, he would heat the butter on his pan. NTUC butter spits and splatters means there is high water content so not so pure.
Other better butters he tried, no or minimum spit/splatter.

It is made in Denmark. It is illegal to mislead in product labelling.

Unless unknown brands or buy from untrusted platforms.

Italians are used to high salt level in their dishes. A reason why Italian dishes are so popular. 😁

Watsonia Butter. Cheap and good. I wish someone import it from Australia.

Slap it on pancake with Maple Syrup. 😋

I suspect this is China origin, packaged in Denmark, therefore labelled as made in Denmark.

I've been to Denmark several times, their farmers take pride in their produce, there are a hell lot of regulations in agriculture and it is bloody expensive. The butter there is good, and there's no doubt about it.
It is not a Denmark brand. It is made in Denmark specifically for NTUC. Made in Denmark but lower quality to lower the selling price. So cannot compare with rest of Denmark butters.

When AMDK reviewed and said not good, all would comment "Thanks for sharing", "NTUC really bad quality", "Totally agree" etc.

When a non-AMDK reviewed and said not good, you'd see "Dun like dun buy", "No one force you to try", "quality proportion to price mah" etc.
