The things that jumped in prices are the collector boosters and collector decks. Everything else, like the play booster, is printed to demand.

Store are selling a collector booster box for like SGD $1200. Beyond fricking crazy. Not even LOTR collector booster box commanded such a premium !!!

Heard the serialised golden chocobo, is going for USD 200,000...

Prices are bonkers high right now, especially for the collector's items.

Too late to flip, heard there's allocation problems for the collector boosters. Retailers in EU and US had to slash orders because their order quantity were not fulfilled. Not sure if local retailers were affected. Cannot buy and flip because you now have to pay market prices for the collector boosters.

No, it ain't. During my schooling days, MTG was popular amongst teens.. if 12 year olds can play it, anyone else can. That said, there are more abilities / rules to remember, as compared to 30 years ago.

That said, I will not recommend commander for beginners. Best stick to standard format and learn the basics.

Collector items will not be reprinted though.

and most of them rent out spaces for people to play

and yes most weekends are full of peeps

Got... If you know where to look. Many of the stores are located in "ulu" places. I know of 2 stores located in HDB bomb shelters...
