Can ask SXL to go find, she mentioned the tiongs visa free entry to sg does not invite more crimes.

So why she supported letting these strangers into sg?

Passport impounded as a SOP for bail. Since he absconded the bail money will be decided in court if to be forfeited and goes into government coffers. If the bailor is able to show proof that he has exercised every care to prevent and after that he takes measures to find him maybe the court will forfeit some bail money and not all.

Probably hiding in GL, where many sleazy CN gang people there, he might be interrogated nonstop on the whereabout of missing jewelery, no good deal for him.

Hide inside car boot or lorry, drive to JB, then try to enter Thailand and siam from there

Take fishing boat and enter international waters and have people take him onto another ship and siam

What other ideas can you think of

After just 4 days on bail, already cannot be found... please cornfistcake all the bail money.
