Depend on what was the motivation for the marriage 1st.

If it's for a ''better live'' usually even with kid, the mother or dad will not consider the kid as the anchor becuz the real anchor is themselves.

There are many ppl who throughout their lives, never get the calling of parenthood. Kids to them are burdensome more often then not, either from their belief they can never be good parents or simply does not wish to be one.

Not so much about trying or what but kids are simply just never an option for some ppl.
