If our cars cost 20k to 30k, then changing a new batt is like buying a new car.

But thanks to arf, coe, etc our cars are more like 200k to 300k so changing a batt is 10% of costs nia.

4d chess by pap.

Very good point

The most challenging aspect of EV is that no country has found an effective solution to deal with EV fires.

Current SOP is to let the car burn down by itself..
Yes even scdf don't have much solution... Deluge with water only.

wait for battery swapping technology la.

by then they will sell the car without the battery, and cost will be cheaper.

Singapore’s climate strategy stands firm amid global setbacks on emissions

In contrast, Singapore remains resolute in pursuing its climate ambitions. For one thing, it was among the few nations to meet the UN deadline for new climate targets.

During Budget 2025, he also introduced a S$5 billion injection into the Future Energy Fund to secure clean power, alongside incentives to accelerate the adoption of zero-emissions heavy vehicles like electric goods vehicles and buses.
