SG has regressed alot.

From being proactive to reactive to monitoring.

The authorities have to move fast to classify etomidate as controlled drugs. Have harsher punishments for those who vape & sellers. Includes at least 3 strokes of the cane for sellers. This will then send a strong message acrosss

Need some high profile cases!

Jail a couple of tourists or a few from the CBD area

Blk269B would be the newer blk in Yishun. Not surprised this younger breaking bad guy have some pharmacology knowledge to put everything safely together, not to kill his customers.

Ya very disappointed in their actions. Took them damn long to take serious action. Vapes have been around damn long already. Wait until shiat happened then they start to take it seriously.

We does not want to be another Canada or US, where there are zombies in cities and towns.

https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/kpod-vapes-zombie-kids-is-it-time-to-raise-the-alarm

If Canada and US already was an issue then its very late already?

How come never react earlier or think that the current measures they had been doing for vapes were enough?
Complacency?

Similar to cooling measures that also cannot keep HDB flat prices under control?

Don't what is so difficult about this. Still treating them similar to tobacco products.

Should be treating them like hard drugs. Drugs in powder form or in liquid vape form is still drugs, just in a different medium. No such excuse as "don't know" when it comes to consuming or importing them into Singapore. Death penalty for drug traffickers. Problem immediately solved overnight.
I’ll tell u one thing

u can have death penalty for Kpod traffickers. But when you actually sentence them to death, what amnesty international will be screaming how inhumane and edmw will join in to say ya pui pap

in times like this we need a LKY to step up and rule with iron fist.

there were minority and foreigners who criticised his harsh policies but they are what made sg progress and stood out from the neighbouring nations.

if the govt dont do something quick and toughen the laws, the aftermath would be catastrophic

This one very hard, cos their friends in school have and thus will still be exposed to stupid and silly stuff you want to protect them from.

Education is still the most important line of defense, besides it's not like you can keep phones away from them forever, there will come a time they will have their own, be it steal cheat or lie.

Might as well prepped for the inevitable and ensure they are responsible users instead.
And use Parental Controls. And directly supervise phone use when at home.

But problem is so many working adults themselves are glued to their phones, being absolute nuisances when walking anywhere.
