the law doesn't really help anyone

I've read about parents reporting their child, getting referred to various agencies, none of which that helped, but instead end up having to pay a fine.
If kids are recalcitrant, then a stay in the boys home may be a better option. Now the issue is the penalty of vaping is not harsh enough. So even adults are openly vaping.
With the possibility of jail term for recalcitrant offenders, hopefully it will deter.
A death sentence for those who supply should be a sufficient deterrent.

Most people vape in front of friends. Cameras everywhere. Not hard to prove. Plus if go through HP, will find seller details. And if body contains nicotine or drugs, its a sure proof. If dun admit and find out, double the fine.
Law minister say phone msg can auto delete and cannot recover. Nicotine in body cannot be from cigarettes meh. If the drugs amount is low the test itself variance and threshold might not pass and give false positive / true negative.

The reason why the kid behaved this way is lack of affirmation from parents and hence looked for love/friendship somewhere else.
your avatar reminds me of persona.... which started off with a teenage girl suicide scene and the heros inner self manifests coming out to defend the world. Very apt storyline. Everyone's personal psyche manifest and exhibits different behavouir. some are self-destructive.. while others are out to do good

Then it is up to the person to prove that the vape is not his. In any case, whoever bought the vape will also be subjected to the law. So unlikely anyone will do it unless wanna drag everyone in.

Not so easy to plant stuff because who ever planted it will usually be dragged in.

Please implement caning for people who peddle in KPODs.

It does not make sense if the outcome of consuming drugs or KPODs is the same

but the sentences are different

If can, please also hang them

Law minster say no need proof if found in possession. 1st time is the hardest, after practice planting sure can become more skillful.

The zaobao video on youtube said kpod drug will get flush from body in about 3 days after last use but will get deposit in hair, same as cannabis.

The question is why does the govt not ban children born after a certain year to smoke in Singapore.

Once made illegal to smoke if one is of that age or below, eventually it will be hard for them to even want to convert from cigarettes to vapes. Most vapers convert from cigarettes to vapes initially. Then we have the flavoured ones attracting new users.

And if anyone supplies from overseas into Singapore, we should extradite them to sg to sentence them.

Vapes and cigarettes are a scrounge for society. There is no benefit other than taxes and giving people a reason to stop work and have a smoke break.

Children are the future of the country. We should protect them from such vices.

Hair last for two weeks in general. And most vapers have to vape on a daily basis.

When vapers appears everywhere in the public vaping. They took their own sweet time to just monitoring? Only when problems are getting out of hand then wants to take action. Shouldn't it better to take action much earlier? Just my thought.
