NEWS HIGHLIGHT!!
for $100
How low can Singaporeans go?
Don't underestimate the viciousness of sinkie pwn sinkie; even for $50 people will do it.

Also, with joblessness on the rise, a hungry, jobless sinkie will be on full pwning mode for quick cash.

I had the same idea for illegal parking.

If can take photo of people parking at double yellow line and get $100, I’m confident that I don’t need to work for a while.
Also can do it for speeding then I get my friend to drive in lane 2 and film all cars on lane 1

Can recoup all my investments very fast

And best. I will come to HWZ and tell people not to hog lane 1

Years ago I made a report to HSA, with video evidence on an ex colleague blatantly vaping on the streets and stashing his loots within company premises, they subsequently wrote an email to the company to give a warning, instead of going down for an inspection or raid.

The email did not stop that joker from vaping, instead he started hiding in obscure places to vape, such as roof tops and company toilets, making enforcement efforts harder.

They need to be more proactive in stopping these users and suppliers, instead of just sending emails.

Old man wouldn’t have allowed such nonsense to carry on. He would have cracked down on them so hard, that the traffickers and sellers pee in their pants

payout only after offender paid the fine so that won't tax the system and sustainable.

win win. authorities saved on enforcement resources and community got to rope in and be part of the "make singapore great again" initiative!

Seller no get punish hard enough.

police/cnb can only go after them if it is defined under the law

seller can only get punished up to the limit prescribed in the law.

need the law minister to enact new/enhanced laws, then the authorites can act.
if not, all just sit back and watch such videos, saying "beyond my jurisdiction"

Offenders who consume controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act may face a jail term of not less than one year but not more than 10 years and also a fine not exceeding S$20,000. Repeated offenders will be meted with more severe punishments.

From Jul. 21, HSA's hotline service for the public to report vaping offences will be expanded to operate seven days a week, including public holidays, with extended hours from 9am to 9pm.

Members of the public can call the hotline, managed by HSA's Tobacco Regulation Branch, at 6684 2036 or 6684 2037.

the law doesn't really help anyone

I've read about parents reporting their child, getting referred to various agencies, none of which that helped, but instead end up having to pay a fine.

Next time their child will get hang?
