You using 720P monitor? if yes buy 1080 if is 60hz you want change 144hz same resolution can skip. Go 2K straight 144hz if not wrong i think you are fps gamer.

U won't be able to upgrade just the Ryzen 5 5600X CPU alone unless you just going to 5950X which won't be worth the change.
If going to upgrade to the AM5 gen CPUs, then you'll also need new motherboard and DDR5 RAM.

Gaming performance wise not much difference unless TS is specifically doing alot of multithreading stuff.
