That's wad almost happened to 1 of my friend.

He wanted to go USA study MBA, hoping to land an analyst role thereafter when covid ended.

I dissuaded him against it, citing potential lost of income + no guaranteed job after graduation.

If its so difficult to find a job after graduating from uni, what makes it easier after taking masters?

Maybe this is possible before covid.

I got another Sgt from army who did masters in army after working in O&G industry for few years, then switched to an investment analyst role.

Seems like many people want to aim for analyst role instead of going for management. Haiz... Lots of competition

They come out from uni will expect celery of $8k. The resume end up going into the rubbish bin. The jobs then goes to foreigners with experience asking for $3k.
