Boss ask the colleague to hand over his duties.
The colleague gv you out dated docs.?
Must be extremely disappointed.

Even if the resigned guy is still around, dun think he will do anything.
As for the boss, what do you expect him to do ?
Some one have to do the missing work.

My first job, the guy left for some time before I join. All important documents are missing.

Thankfully got the exposure right at the start of my career in the past. Swim or sink, boss told me only give me 1day to familiarise, if files are missing, is my problem, not his. If not hire me for what.

Need boss to threaten the fella with lawsuit to get back updated files. If it's client list, he's in big trouble. If it's not important enough to warrant that action, it means it's your job now. LL.
If you're savvy enough, can recover deleted files from his work computer.

You click on the folders and you saw the time stamp and dates are few years back...

Inside the folder, outdated docs and procedures . Still have clips....

No matter how old we are, if we still employ, we must continue to learn n upgrade ourselves bit by bit.

moi simpur.. as long as no missing impt docs dat affecting projects in general, just let go,

wat impt, before and after they left, nothing missing on the projects..

if found they purposely deleted files to sabo projects, i believe top management will take action..

i understand from some working files, we can learn or study the ex-corlicks workflow..

but bosses no care, as long as the projects running smoothly, they dowan to know hao to..
