Bonds are sensitive to interest rates. The NAV dropped when the Fed hike the rates.

My guess why the NAV is climbing is everyone anticipated Fed rate cuts this quarter.
So the hope for it to climb higher is there. Jerome Powell is retiring soon. Trump has 4 year to serve. With Trump persistently bang table to drop rate, I'll just keep my $100 vested! :s8:

Truth be told, I am a young invester. Would not have considered investment until SA forced closed early this year. Would have been happy to have both RA and SA growing at 4%.

Because of the forced closure, have been reading a lot on investment since last year. Thanks to YouTube, AI and many sites.

So after topping up to ERS, am now investing all my spare OAs building up portfolios from almost 0.

Alternative is to play the HYSA game. Jump through hoops to achieve higher interest. Learning from experience, i dare not put any sum into high risk investment unless i have already meet my FRS or a level of security.
You are in a very good position that many envy. Cos you are only putting in the amount you can afford to lose into high risk play. Achieving ERS is an achievement by itself 👏

The other day i was trying to sell a fund. Today see the price swee swee, i sell. Days later, the price show up literally cmi. Funds i find we often trade in the dark. Also it took many days to complete buy and many days to complete sell. I think it is suitable for those willing to hold long term just like Gold. In even of selling the price must be up a level or 2 so that no matter how and when u sell u still in green. I still prefer stocks so that i know my buy / sell price on the spot.

Just realized LionGlobal Short Duration Bond Fund Active ETF SGD Class just launched (as IPO) and will be listed in SGX near month end.

So this will be dual listed, as UT and as SGX listed ETF. Am reading more on this fund, comparing this with Mari Invest SavePlus.

In short, LionGlobal Short Duration Bond Fund Active ETF SGD Class has bond exposure geographically. I wont buy this since I already have SGX:MBH AMOVA SGD IG CORP BOND ETF.

Those who want geographical exposure may consider.
