Well, if you are coming from S7 it's pretty much a good upgrade, no?
Ultimately is rest on your budget and usage liao.

If you want to replace a laptop, the main question to ask is whether the software you need are available from Google Play Store. If so, the Ultra is a very capable laptop replacement

thinking of getting the OnePlus pad 3. Not sure if I will regret my purchase or not. Cause the OnePlus is at a good price now at 483 For the 256GB version.

Samsung UI is definitely better than OnePlus. So it comes down to whether you want the better UI or save money.

E.g. Samsung file browsers have direct integration with Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox.
There's SamsungDex desktop mode
Vertical app rotation in landscape mode works better
Longer AndroidOS updates in the future
S Pen included
OnePlus dock can only fit 6 shortcuts and 3 recent apps

There's no point getting Ultra unless you want to use it like a laptop.

Having said that OnePlus Pad 3 for less than SGD 500 is a very good deal. The hardware is really good. The retail price is USD 700 which is seriously overpriced.

my intention of getting the 13 inch tablet is mainly for media consumption.

my main phone is the z fold 7. And work tablet is actually iPad pro m4.

just received the OnePlus pad 3 but yet to open it cause not sure if I should keep it or get the tab s11.

looking at your comment, I think OnePlus will be a better choice for my use case.

iPads cannot compare to Android tablets interopability personally.
But of course, each have their own strengths and weakness, prefer Android for work than IOS.
