my number ONE investment rule: NEVER invest property in other countries, especially in bolehland
Think at least landed, those standalone one, even if they don't complete one can still find ways to finish it independently. But high rise apartment is a big no no. Too much money involve, the whole project, not one person can settle. Unless already completed for sales, if not, 烂尾楼 risk very high for apartment. Perhaps more so in MY given the way the system works.

This project if I not wrong, was by a novice China developer who never build any bldg b4.

They got rich selling coal, but later coal biz was not performing, they unable to finance this project.

They even engaged MediaCorp actors or actresses to endorse during sales.

Many sinkies fell for it, and became 烂尾楼。

The location is some road towards Pasir Gudang, near Ikea or that direction.

This 烂尾楼 quite well known in the ppty industry cuz it's already many years.


Recently, Msia govt re tender one 烂尾楼 from 1998 and another one at Danga Bay (also another China developer Greenland Holdings ), i think this gains attention for those investors who bot this Pasir Gudang 烂尾楼 hoping govt can help them.

This unker think his condo is in SG ? Even here, can hardly rent out one room for so much. Really kena chop carrot.

Maybe the agent will say the uncle heard wrongly. It's RM1,500, not S$1,500.🤷😓

So far I have heard more sinkie kena burn in overseas property investment than making money.

Many are just impulsive at the point of purchase simply because the property are cheaper than here
