I entered since $16.70 and has been accumulating with some day trades along the way. Core position remains and will be holding as long the company performs.

SpaceX current valuation is $400 - $450 bil, Rocket Lab at $32 bil market cap. This year alone they had 72 rocket launches with 100% success rate. We're at the dawn of space race and China is competing aggressively. To the moon we go!!!

the stock exist because of their next gen neutron only ...... electron rocket cannot compete in price against rideshare , they just keep on blowing the trumpet about dedicated orbit justify higher cost than rideshare .... once other startups build more tugs then rideshare + tugs will defeat small dedicated expendables

Designing rockets is one thing, getting them to fly successfully is another. Just today, Japan had to contract Rocket Lab due to repeated failures of their own launch vehicles. Similarly, Firefly faced a major setback last week when an engine test ended in an explosion that wrecked the test site.

neutron's competitors are the china bunch , stoke space , new glenn , starship & falcon 9

all at least booster stage reusable design



i posted about it in 2021 december immediately after their announcement

fun to see others doing exact opposite in choices when it comes to cost and reusability
we will see how well they compete in a few years

example
stainless steel can use low tech methods of hammer and welding .... carbon fiber is directly scrap whole thing when damage or flawed in 1 area
second stage balloon tanks are HUNG ! cost and weight penalty shifted towards first stage
moving planar fins , different from fixed on new-glenn
chomper/petal/hungryhippo fairing great idea if doesn't increase risk of re-contact when separating
