The lengthy wait time indicated that HDB already knew of potential delays or additional checks.

While we may question the buyers' decision-making for choosing these projects, it is also a mystery why HDB launched those so soon.
Imo HDB should not launch projects where they know it will take several years to clear and to prepare the land before construction can start

Base on the date where everyone collected their keys... I think my top just started even I collected the keys 10 months ago

Apply time alr stated. Sign agreement of lease hdb officer will also tell you. Hdb website alr stated.
How many times one need to be informed?

That's the idea of bto isn't? Build only when it is worth to build. What they are doing now is revert to pre-bto for some projects, build first talk later. If they don't do this how many grc they will be lost in last ge

This the latest photo posted yesterday on google maps. The google maps satellite view was from 28 may 2025.

From the photo one of the blk already beginning pilecap works. Estimate pilecap and ground floor takes 2-3 months. Then first floor 1-2 months. 2nd floor onwards about 2 weeks per storey. This project only 14 storey. By next year aug should be able to reach roof level.

If the contractor do not drag should be able to handover end of 2027.

Our ministers got no otak . Swing from one extreme to another.
Many years ago, got glut. Built too many. So next minister decided to stop building any for a couple of years, after which must bto before they start building.

Duh. If got excess flats, just cut down number of new construction. Not become zero.. then become shortage

This bto project was launched in 2022 during covid. Hdb should be expected low application bto failed to meet minimum application to proceed.

The kovan mrt bto was took years to evict the nurseries and restored land to grass field then launched the bto.

Wrong place. This was taken at the main road. This gate is for the new road unde rcontruction. Zoom in the grass patch in the centre is the grass verge of the new road.

From google map satellite view, gate of the bto should near that grass patch.

They can build in advance since it's always oversubscribed. Outdated method is Collect enough confirmed downpayments then build

Her child so fast in school already.
She got the bto in 2022. She wasn't married when she applied for her hdb .
Now, few years later, her child is already in school
Maybe she buy 1 get 1..

I think why they complained is neighboring bto aranda breeze launched at same time 8-9 storeys already. The contrast is too great for the buyers to cope. Photo from google maps posted 9 days ago.
